"When the time's right and after I sit down and talk to the Melbourne people, the next move will be decided. Note he said Melbourne not Brisbane and Melbourne people. I would take it as the talk was finalising everything and the press conference for the announcement. What do you think about the FourFourTwo article Postecoglou: I've Made My Mark Now? BRISBANE Roar coach Ange Postecoglou was full of pride after winning back-to-back Hyundai A-League titles and says he feels he is beginning to secure his legacy in Australian football.Have your say.

Even as a neutral it sucks that Ange is leaving. Will be interesting to see who Brisbane appoint if he does go.

The club made a $6 million / 4year offer to keep him.
Only big clubs can do that.
But I would feel sorry for Victory if they don't get him.
Afterall there's noone else who can lift them up - to medicrocy!

Take the $6m 4 year deal the Bakrie group is offering while your coaching stocks are high. If he can't organise the victory rabble and they finish mid table or worse an offer like the one that's been presented may never be offered again.
4 years - $6 mill and you can still coach after that contracts finished. He'll only be 50 with still plenty of time up his sleeve.

Quote from foxsports puts this in a completely different context listener "When the time is right and I sit down and talk to the relevant people, the next move will be decided."http://www.foxsports.com.au/football/a-league/the-future-of-ange-postegolou-continues-to-remain-a-mystery-following-brisbane-roars-dramatic-gf-win/story-e6frf4gl-1226335950774

I can the see the issue. Would upset Harry and Archie if someone else got the mantle. Would you have been saying this at the Asian cup, world cup etc?

Afterall there's noone else who can lift them up - to medicrocy! You still haven't awoken to reality have you champ? Reality is that Brisbane are the best club in the country. Reality is that they have won two championships (back to back). Reality is they have been undefeated for an Australian number of games. Reality is that Brisbane have the money to continue their greatness with or without Ange. Reality is little can help Victory achieve the same. Is there anything else you would like to know about reality, champ?

Instead they got Mulvey Your logic is flawed.

I would not mind if Mulvey the ex GOLD Coast coach was appointed coach for us at a fraction of the price.
