Asian Cup Features

'Australia Can Win Asian Cup'
THE Korean version of FourFourTwo speaks to Korea Republic coach Cho Kwang-Rae about winning the Asian Cup and taking on Australia in the group stages.
Asian Cup 2011 - Group C
AUSTRALIA and Korea Republic should progress here, but Bahrain are able to cause an upset, as seen by beating Japan 1-0 in qualifying. Underdogs India make up the numbers. If the weight of expectation proves too much for the favourites, Bahrain could sneak into the quarter-finals.
Asian Cup 2011 - Group B
POWERHOUSES Japan and Saudi Arabia should progress in a group containing minnows Syria and Jordan. However, if either of the unfancied west Asian nations manage to snag a win against the big guns of the group, it will blow qualification wide open.
Asian Cup 2011 - Group A
HOST nation Qatar will be hopeful of progression if they can get the better of improving Uzbekistan, underachieving China and a Kuwaiti team which managed to defeat Australia. The hosts and the Uzbeks are favourites but if China find form the group could run closer than expected.
Asian Cup 2011 - Group D
D is for 'Death'. A very competitive group features Asian Cup holders Iraq, perennial up-and-downers Iran, World Cup 2010 finalists DPR Korea and strong qualifiers United Arab Emirates. With a number of unpredictable teams, Group D leaves pundits scratching their heads.
