DENMARK-based Aussie goalkeeper Nathan Coe insists its time for him to be a regular number one stopper after dropping down the pecking order at new Superliga club Randers.
The 25-year-old Australian joined Randers in August this year after frustrating stints as a back-up stopper at FC Kobenhavn, PSV Eindhoven and Inter Milan earlier in his career.
The Brisbane-born goalkeeper, who was called up to the national team squad back in November 2007 to face Nigeria, worked his way into the Randers side in September but following the sacking of boss John Jansen in early October, Coe has fallen out of favour again.
Coe said: "It's really disappointing, of course. I thought I did well enough to play and I was happy with how I was playing apart from the mistake in Copenhagen.
"I came to play and that's what my main goal is, to play every week and, of course, it's disappointing to be back on the bench."
After a number of frustrating stints elsewhere, Coe's move to Randers was all about getting first-team football, so to miss out again multiplies his disappointment.
He added: "That's the reason for moving, to play. And it's time for me to play.
"I've been here, there and everywhere it feels like and now it is really time for me to play every week and be the number one goalkeeper."
Coe's rival for the number one shirt at Randers is former Manchester City stopper Kevin Stuhr Ellegaard and despite the Aussie's frustration, he insists they've got a healthy competitive relationship.
"I get along with Kevin. Kevin's a good goalkeeper and in a football team everyone has competition," said Coe. There's one person playing and one or two people wanting to play. It's healthy for the team that people are wanting to play and having a little competition.
"As long as it's a good competition and respectful competition then that's fine. As long as you get along and train hard and work together, then that's great.
"We're both professional enough to know that's football and in football people always have competition and there's always these little battles going on in the team.
"Whoever plays its great for them. It's nothing personal against the other person."
Coe remains focused on winning back the number one shirt and intends to impress new Randers boss Ove Christenson.
"All I can do is train as hard as possible and show him what I can do and make it hard for him to make a decision. That's what I'm aiming to do," he added.
Randers, who are languishing in bottom spot in Denmark's top flight this season, are in action on Sunday this weekend away to ninth-placed FC Midtjylland.
