EXCLUSIVE – Lucas Neill will join illustrious company as the face of top-selling footy videogame PES 2008.

au.fourfourtwo.com can reveal Neill, alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, will feature on the Australian and New Zealand cover of PES 2008.

It's the latest version in the highly-rated Pro Evolution Soccer series that's a huge hit with console footy fans.

Neill replaces striker John Aloisi who is the only other Australian to have featured on the cover when he was the face of the last local version.

In the past, international and local versions have included John Terry, Adriano, Thierry Henry, Francesco Totti and Italian referee Pierluigi Collini.

“Lucas Neill is one of the most exciting talents to represent Australian football," says Mark Gilbert, Marketing Director of Atari Australia.

"We’re privileged to have him as the face of PES 2008 as well as Cristiano Ronaldo who is one of the undisputed stars of world football ”
