Grass Roots BeachSide Wins Southern Tasmanian Division One

Beachside HSC has taken out the Southern Tasmanian Division One title with a 2-1 win away at Christian United on Saturday September 1 2007. The exciting title chase came down to the final weekend of the competition with a South Hobart reserves team requiring Beachside to loose and an increase in South Hobart's goal difference by 15 goals, the likelihood was always in Beachside's favor. Beachside will now take on the bottom Southern Tasmanian Premier League team, Metro-Claremont for a sport in the Premier League next year. The playoff will be played over two leggs, home and away to see who is in the Premier League next year.
