Jets Sign South Korean For Finals

EXCLUSIVE: Newcastle Jets have signed a 20-year-old South Korean playmaker - further boosting the club's stocks ahead of their finals campaign.

FC Seoul midfielder Song Jin-hyung, a former South Korean youth international, is the player who will ink a deal today in the lead up to the visit of Perth Glory.

Little is known about the South Korean but if he's as successful as Queensland's Hyuk Su-Seo, Gary Van Egmond will be very pleased.

It's understood the South Korean has been trialling for the last few days at Energy Australia stadium and is a highly skilful player.
