Beckham Won't Roar In Brisbane
QUEENSLAND Roar has denied reports that David Beckham and his LA Galaxy side will face Frank Farina's men at Suncorp in November.
More than 80,000 fans packed into ANZ Stadium last November to see Beckham’s boys lose 5-3 in a sometimes tetchy encounter.Now media reports from Brisbane suggest the Galaxy will arrive at Suncorp Stadium later this year as part of another end of season tour.
However, the club categorically denied today that any such fixture had been secured and nor was it seeking one.
The LA Galaxy has yet to comment on the speculation.
