MATILDA starlet Collette McCallum has made a stunning US W-League debut to help her club Pali Blues to a 5-0 opening round win against Ventura County Fusion.

The Aussie midfielder scored twice in the California club’s first ever W-League contest.

All goals came in the second half with the Matildas star notching the historic first ever goal for the club off a pass from defender Kara Kabellis in the 53rd minute.

Twenty minutes later she had her second to round out goals from Rosie Tantillo (two) and Danesha Adams.

McCallum, a dead-ball specialist, is expected to play a key role in the Matildas’ Asian Cup campaign which kicks off later this month.
