EXCLUSIVE: Striker Dez Giraldi has signed for Serie D team AG Nocerina bon a year long deal.

The Serie D outfit, based near the Amalfi Coast in southern Italy, is an ambitious club hoping for promotion to Serie C2.

They have also signed Victorian Premier League player, Frankie Lagana.

Twenty two year old Giraldi spent a frustrating stint at Adelaide with injury dogging much of his time there.

Giraldi, the Wollongong-born former AIS student, knows Italian football having spent a year at both Cuoio Pello and Empoli before the A-League kicked off.
