EXCLUSIVE: Olyroo star Mark Milligan will fly out of Sydney on Sunday headed for Europe to discuss personal terms with two clubs before rejoining his U/23 teammates in China.

"One of the clubs is in England and the other is in Central Europe that's all we can at this stage," sources in Europe tell au.fourfourtwo.com. "But Mark will leave Australia on Sunday."

At this stage it is unclear which two clubs will be speaking with the Aussie defender, but it's understood the deal could be finalised by early to mid next week.

The former Sydney FC man, who had a brief spell training with Arsenal and Manchester City in recent months, has worked hard on his fitness and was delighted to be included in the Australian team for the Beijing Olympics announced a week ago.

Milligan, 22, is set to play for Australia this Saturday against New Zealand at North Sydney Oval in the Olyroos' final friendly match on home soil.

However the former Young Socceroo skipper, picked up a slight knee injury after training at North Sydney Oval yesterday. Fellow Olyroo Billy Celeski also picked up a leg strain after training on the surface.

The Olyroos are due to fly out to China after Saturday's match to continue their preparations for a tough group that includes Argentina, Serbia and Ivory Coast.
