NEW Hannover signing Mikael Forssell had a debut to remember scoring 10 goals as the Bundesliga side defeated amateurs FC Boffzen 23-0 in a pre-season friendly on Saturday.

The Finnish striker had bagged his hat-trick within eight minutes while fellow new-signing Jan Schlaudraff also scored three times in the convincing victory.

Jiri Stajner got in on the act with four goals and Mike Hanke grabbed a brace as all of Hannover's strikers had a field day.

Schalke celebrated a comfortable win too on Saturday with an 11-0 triumph over a local selection of amateur players coached by former Schalke favourite Olaf Thon.

Soren Larsen, Jermaine Jones and Gerald Asamoah all chipped in with two goals apiece.
