Kezman's PSG Move In Doubt

FENERBAHCE striker Mateja Kezman has cast doubt on the prospect of him joining Paris St Germain.

It was thought the Serbia international would complete his move to PSG this week but negotiations with the Turkish club have come to a standstill, the transfer fee appearing to be the sticking point.

Kezman fears the French side could now fix their sights on another striker, with less than three weeks left before the transfer window closes.

"I think Paris are going to have to look for another solution because it is very tricky to find an agreement with Fenerbahce," he told Le Parisien.

"I am very disappointed by this situation.

"I would love to play for Paris but I still have two years left on my contract with Fenerbahce, the clubs can't come to an agreement and the president is playing a very hard game with me."

The 29-year-old is not a regular at Fenerbahce and the chances of him getting more game time under new coach Luis Aragones appear even bleaker following the club's signing of Spain striker Daniel Guiza.

PSG's attempts to sign a striker have hit a brick wall this summer.

Rennes are blocking any move for Jimmy Briand, even though the France international wants to join the capital club.

With Kezman now unlikely to come, PSG coach Paul Le Guen could look into the possibility of bringing in Milan Baros from Lyon.

Baros is behind Karim Benzema, Fred and Frederic Piquionne in the pecking order of strikers at the French champions.
