SOCCEROO midfielder Vinnie Grella has admitted he's ready for a move to the English Premier League.

But despite persistent rumours of £4million transfer bids from Manchester City, Fulham and Blackburn Rovers, he confessed he's yet to hear anything concrete.

“At the moment I’ve only read and heard of these things and up till now there’s been nothing official," Grella told Setanta Sports today.

Grella was in the UK for the Socceroos' friendly with South Africa at Loftus Road in London and may try to fit in meetings with Rovers' boss Paul Ince before he returns to Torino and Italy.

But he insisted: “I haven’t met him. Nothing’s been planned.

“Tomorrow [Wednesday] I should be back in Italy so until I find out any other information I’m a Torino player."

But Grella admitted he's ready for a change - and despite a career spent in Italy, he reckons his future could be in the English Premier League.

“Yes, a move to England would interest me,” Grella added.

“I think English football at the moment has taken over, it’s improved so much, it’s full of world champions and it’s something that, having been 10 years in Italy, interests me.”
