Australia NewsGazza: No More Home Draws |
NEWCASTLE Jets boss Gary van Egmond says his team must learn to win at home if they are to be serious title challengers.

The Jets saw all three points slip from their grasp on Monday as a last-minute Shane Smeltz penalty earned Wellington Phoenix a 2-2 draw.
It means Newcastle have yet to win an A-League match on their own turf this season with Central Coast Mariners, Sydney FC and now Wellington all leaving the Hunter with a point.
Van Egmond felt Newcastle's luck was about to change this time, only for a Shane Smeltz penalty to ensure parity once again.
He said: "At one stage there I thought we were going to be fine, but it wasn’t to be unfortunately.
“We’ve played here at home 3 times now and drawn all 3 times,” he said. “I suppose the upside of it is that we scored 2 goals, but we’ve conceded 2 pens.
"If you want to be a serious challenger in this league you need to win your games at home."
