Wanna Write For FourFourTwo?

YOUR favourite magazine/website hybrid FourFourTwo is looking for new writers to join our merry band of online bloggers - and you could be the next star of the internet. Maybe.

We want new, fresh, talented (ie - know spelling and grammar and stuff) and funny writers for each of the A-League clubs.

But as well as being bloggers, you'll be our link with the club on the ground. We can get you sorted with access to press conferences and training sessions, even player interviews.

All you've got be is, erm, good...and committed. We don't want someone who gives us something once every three months, if that.

Ideally, we'd like a blog once a week, reviewing the previous week's performance, looking at the week ahead and taking an overview of club events.

Anything else on top would be beaut, but that would be up to you.

In return, you'll get a high-profile column on au.fourfourtwo.com with your picture and byline - and an audience of millions each month, hanging on your every word.

You'll notice there's no mention of, umm, cash or a salary or company car/jet. There's a reason for that - there ain't any.

What we do offer, though, is a regular spot to showcase your talents in the website read by EVERYONE in the industry (and we really mean everyone).

If you prove to be good, we'll even promote you from the club homepages onto our front page and join our international band of high profile bloggers.

We'll also throw in a free subscription to the mag for as long as you're supplying regular material.

If you have any ambitions of making a career in football journalism or it's something you've just always wanted to do and have something interesting to say, it's a great opportunity.

If you're interested, send us a sample blog of around 300 words or more on any subject (but preferably about your A-League club) to kairs@fourfourtwo.net.au

At the moment, we'll be looking for the current A-League clubs but also bloggers for Gold Coast United and North Queensland in the not too distant future.

So crank up Word and get busy...

We review the ‘Ronaldo Effect’ and find out if the Portuguese superstar is missed by Manchester United, why he is so vital to Real Madrid and if we can lead his country to World Cup glory. We also chat to Xavi, Carlo Ancelotti, plus Socceroos Vince Grella and David Carney.

Have you got a scoop? Tell us about it and you could be the first to break the news on FourFourTwo.
