AUSTRALIA have slid down the rankings out of FIFA's Top 30 following their recent run of mediocre results in the Asian Cup qualifiers.
The Socceroos are now down to 32nd place after peaking at 27th just last month following the embarrassing home defeat against 125th placed Kuwait (now 114th) and the away draw with Indonesia.
Australia's slide was the biggest change in the top 30 this month.
The top seven in the rankings remain unchanged with Spain still ruling the roost ahead of Germany, Holland, Italy and Brazil.
England lost a place, down to 9th, Scotland moved up four to 28, while the USA moved up three to 17th. Australia remain the local powerhouse as the top ranked Asian team, but Japan closed the gap, moving up two places to 35th place.
