The proof's in the pudding…
Australian teams' performances in the Asian Champions League has shown that our sides are not as good as some people think they are. After four rounds Adelaide United has effectively been knocked out and Sydney FC need to continue their chase of the Red Diamonds if they're to progress.
But is that necessarily a bad thing? I think no. Joining the Asian Football Confederation was always going to be a challenge and dominating sides and these tournaments would be counter-productive for everyone concerned.
Football in this country has always been on bumpy path and it hasn't ended yet. Luckily though, the bumps are now more about getting results on the pitch rather than off them. And once again, we've had you covered - with breaking A-League news to exclusive stories to minute-by-minute Asian Champions League match reports.
Cue name and title!

Love him or loathe him, we're not quite sure what to make of Terry's new job. His new boss says he's an "inspiration" to others, which we're sure will make at least some of the Sydney FC boys laugh.
