Richard Cann Who would have thought we'd outrage so many with our top 25 Australian footballers of all time? The forums have gone crazy! Archie may be calling Viduka's omission an "absolute disgrace" (see the article below) but it has been interesting to see a large number of Australian football fans defend the decision on the forums.

Maybe it's the weather, the change of seasons or just the greenhouse effect, but people just seem to be in an angry mood at the moment. Witness the fiery Sydney vs Melbourne clash last weekend - eight yellow cards, one red card and a serve for Aussie defenders from the little maestro Juninho. Watch out football fans, emotions are running high.

Djite Out For Up To Six Weeks
What a tragedy - just as Bruce Djite was starting to hit his straps, an ankle injury will see the league's top goalscorer on the sidelines for the next six weeks. It's just as well that Adelaide has plenty of attacking depth.

Wright Stars... For Cheltenham
Ah, the joys of negotiating with ageing foreign stars! It seems Sydney FC's big target Alan Wright would prefer a non-contract arrangement with Cheltenham Town in England's third tier comp to playing in the A-League.

Man City boss Sven Goran Eriksson is set to make a $30million swoop for Socceroo Mark Bresciano and Liverpool striker Peter Crouch in January. Any move that gives us a bit more of Marco on the tube is OK by us.

Celtic Chief Questions Dida's Dive
What a joke! Dida gives a class in giving footballers a bad name. We'd love to be at the UEFA hearing when the keeper has to explain his theatrics. Watch his performance.
