We're all waiting eagerly to find out what sort of an A-League comp we'll have next year - will the Gold Coast Galaxy and Northern Thunder get their finances in order in time to make it the 10-team comp that everyone wants? Or will we have to wait until 2009? It sounds increasingly like the latter is more likely. Could Wollongong or Casey crash the party for a 12-team A-League in 2009? Fingers crossed.
One positive is news of the National Youth League featuring the seven Australian A-League clubs, giving us the possibility of curtainraisers. All is quiet on the Women's A-League though...
