It's been a big week for the FFA. Frank Lowy has taken a place on FIFA's World Cup organising committee and they even managed to beat a Media All Stars team (boasting some top FourFourTwo players) 3-1 yesterday.
Elsewhere we hear of Bozza flying off to LA to film a documentary next month, while Harry Kewell continues his rich vein of scoring form for Galatasaray.
Also see below for our first set of predictions for this weekend's A-League games.

Round Five
Tonight
Queensland Roar v Newcastle Jets Both teams have had underwhelming and inconsistent starts to the season, so it will be interesting to see who prospers here. Queensland got its season moving in Perth last round, while Newcastle also recovered from its 5-0 smashing at the hands of Melbourne with a far steelier draw against Sydney last outing, but remain winless. Coward’s verdict – draw.
Saturday
Sydney v Adelaide This is a great opportunity for Sydney to start creating an essential component for the season – making Sydney Football Stadium a fortress. However I expect Sydney to toil in a low scoring encounter. Adelaide will keep it tight and return home with a precious point.
Central Coast Mariners v Melbourne Victory The Mariners are flittering between stalemates and goal fests, much like the rest of the A-league, making this a tough one to predict. That said Melbourne are not topping the table by default and should have enough in the locker to claim three more points.
Sunday
Perth Glory v Wellington Phoenix Even at Round Five, this is shaping up like an early wooden spoon play-off. Both teams are without a win, but based on flashes of form last season Phoenix should get their season rolling with three points. The two teams have conceded 20 goals between them so far this season, that should be enough to ensure goals at both ends.
