Some great endorsements for Australian football this week, with Adelaide selling out their ACF semi-final and the A-League hitting the four million attendance mark. All this in the same week the Socceroos squad was announced with a shock inclusion for Sydney FC’s Shannon Cole. It’s been an amazing rise to stardom for Shannon from state league player to Socceroos squad member in a matter of months. Elsewhere the Mark Milligan saga continues and the new interim Newcastle manager lets fly at the British press.
