This week we heard how both Dwight Yorke and Tim Cahill won’t be joining the A-League as we’d first hoped. But worry not as Iain Fyfe is staying in the A-League and moving to his home town of Adelaide next season. It seems the future of our budding domestic league is safe after all.

Elsewhere, Frank Lowy has reiterated his fierce desire to see the Socceroos host the 2018 World Cup while remaining quietly confident of booking a ticket for 2010 in South Africa and we prepare as Fred battles against his former employees tonight.
