Disappointment for the Aussieroos last night as they slumped to a 1-0 loss at the hands of Middle East minnows Kuwait in Canberra. We’re sure Pim wasn’t that surprised at the loss after spending weeks criticising the standard of A-League footballers, then trying to motivate those very players to victory. Credit must go to a hard working and technically gifted Kuwait outfit and the people of Canberra with over 20,000 at the game last night to boost their chances of landing an A-League license. I guess the museums must be closed on Thursday nights.

Elsewhere, the FFA have backed down on the two Grand Final dismissals and admitted referee Matthew Breeze blundered, while North Queensland Fury have given up their pursuit of Socceroo Scott Chipperfield.
