The Socceroos squad for the vital World Cup qualifiers next week has been named. Welcome back Nicky Carle, Brad Jones and Mark Milligan. They come in alongside Rhys Williams, Dario Vidosic and after a three-year absence, Adrian Madaschi (note the Wikipedia link you were undoubtedly going to search for anyway).

Elsewhere, Barcelona outclass Manchester United to win the European Champions League and Socceroo Josh Kennedy could be set to end his nine-year stay in Germany after his club Karlsruhe was relegated from the Bundesliga.
