You can only imagine the Culina family have taken a step closer to impersonating the Kirkland family (not speaking in German, but you get the idea!) from the Police Academy movies as Dad Branko once again got the better of son Jason's Gold Coast over the weekend. A result which put the wooden spoon holders fourth in the league… somehow!

Elsewhere Fury continued their strong form against Perth as they took their tally to seven point from the Western Australians, Wellington finally managed not to draw a game at home instead losing to Sydney, Melbourne went all Kill Bill on us by getting their revenge over Central Coast, and what was left of the Brisbane squad lost to bottom of the league Adelaide.

Over in Europe, while it would be too easy to mock Liverpool's run of abysmal form, it is even more fun to laugh at Bundesliga side Hannover 96 who managed to score six goals against mouthful Borussia Moenchengladbach - three of them in the wrong goal as they lost 5-3.
