Saturday night's game was a cracker. While the AFL final grabbed most of the attention, the Mariners v Fury tie in the evening was a great advert for our game. The home side edged the encounter with a late winner, but not before a seesawing scoreline, a red card, a penalty and a pretty impressive own goal off McBreen's knee into the top corner.
Sunday witnessed Perth's slump continue at home to Brisbane, where yet another late winner in this round, from Rocky Visconte, was enough for the Roar to land back-to-back wins.
